THE LINK: HOW IT WORKS

The Link to Success, Inc. was formed in 1989 as a consulting company working for high technology companies involved in telecommunications. Many of the original clients were major carriers, computer companies and telemarketing firms. The primary focus was on increasing sales as well as expansion options concerning other businesses or new locations.

Link Telemarketing was formed in 1990 as a service bureau association to market a variety of centers under a single identity. The Link provides information sharing between centers, combines purchasing power to maximize discounts with the Link supplier members, and acts as a clearing house to insure quality of service and to allow business and leads to be shared and/or passed from one call center to another. For example, if a prospective telemarketing customer requires 10,000 hours per month of calling, that particular work contract might be shared by 2-4 of the member-centers. The Link also provides a free consulting service for prospective telemarketing customers linking them to the appropriate service bureau. The Link centers assure that each telemarketing project is performed to the customer's satisfaction. In the event that a center fails to fulfill customer requirements three times, that center is dropped from membership.

Through this arrangement, both the member-centers and the telemarketing customers benefit. The centers benefit from the networking aspect of the association as well as the increased purchasing power for service and equipment and, most of all, from the advertising and marketing done by the Link to gain work contracts. The telemarketing customer is provided with free consulting and advice as a means of connecting with the center or centers most qualified to do the project. The result is what the Link seeks to achieve: the Win-Win Situation.
